Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Yeah, I hear ya....

I've been in IT for 30 years as ntwk. admin and programmer. The *last* thing I want to do when I go home is to fiddle about with a bunch of IP settings, worrying about my DHCP and just generally anything having to do with computers.

Having said that, I *do* use my Oppo BDP-93 to play music files from my network's hard discs. It works quite well, using Foobar2000 as my DLNA server (FREE!!), and the fact that I have over 3TB of music at my beck and call is a real bonus. However, I still burn CD/DVD copies of my favorite music so I can take it with me when I go to a fellow audiophile's home...
