I can't figure out what is going on at Decca. In 2008, the Solti "Rheingold" was reissued in the mid-price Original series. Then a year later, it was reissued in the budget Heritage Masters series. Meanwhile, the full-price 1997 reissue is still available. So, as of today you can buy the same recording at three different price points, and apparently soon you will be able to buy it as part of at least three different boxed sets as well. And I suppose you can buy downloads online as well. That's a lot of options.
