I tried various ideas concerning various formats (wav vs. flac, flac uncompressed via dbpoweramp, etc.) and I find that flac is still compressed until your computer decompresses it on the fly, wav is uncompressed natively and takes up more hard drive space than flac, and flac uncompressed is completely uncompressed and takes up more file space as well. To my untrained ear they all sound very similar if not the same, really good. Hopefully I haven't cut off my foot and stuffed it in my mouth! If that's correct then give me a donut or something. Anyone?
