It may share a similar deign approach and decisions as Theta - from a topology point of view. But when it comes to component selection, it will be fairly different (DAC chip used, caps used, expense of power supply, isolation, etc.).
But also consider that the quality and type of DAC and signal processing chips are much better and more powerful than in times past if you are doing a mostly conventional approach.
