Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Coax Out + RCA Out = OK?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I use a Rotel CD player.

Right now, the digital coax out is connected to a HeadRoom headphone amplifier with a built-in DAC.

I am thinking about buying a Rotel integrated to power a pair of speakers, but I don't want to give up my headphone setup.

So, that would mean running both a digital coax out and an analog RCA out from the CD player to the different amps.

Would that be okay?

Not sure if the CD electronics are okay with running both digital and analog out, or if I have to choose one or the other.
