And the freedom to compare...

There are a lot of people feeling the sound of the CD is better, and a few that SACD is the best. My personal taste is SACD sound is 'cleaner', since you can play music at higher volume, meaning less noise, this is true if the SACD player is extraordinary, like Mr. Charles Hansen Ayre C-5xeMP, and you have the look to find really ones recordings...

The little harsh in mine probably comes from the power cord, and/or the class-D amplifier in the Martin Logan Sub's., that I have to isolate better.
