Using the Westwern Digital to send 16/44.1k to dac. Hooking the sony sacd/cd player up and playing cd works fine. This eliminates the dac and toslink cable. Must be a problem with the Western. Guess thats better than sending the dac in again! Will try the Western again (just did a firmware update) before sending it off for replacement/repair. At least its in warranty.
