I didn't know before that Siltech cables contained trace amounts of gold, interesting. What are the audio properties of gold?

I had to look up the Kimber Select cables when I saw both of you mention them, I had no idea they actually made a high-end series until now! The Select cables look really interesting, too bad I can't find much on how to buy them.

This isn't the first time I've read the P8i benefits from a power regenerator but that's depressing since I can't find much in the way of <$1K units. A used PS Audio Power Plant Premier would definitely be one way to go but even the used prices on Audiogon are more than I'd like to spend. Would a P500 be almost as good?

Any further suggestions on what to use with a dCS?
