I'm using my Attraction in a similar configuration as you, Endust.

MAC to TC Electric Konnekt8 via firewire then to the Altmann Attraction DAC via SPDIF. In my case, my SDPIF cable is an inexpensive Belden 1695A with Canare RCAs, not a $5000 ACROLINK digital cable, but sounds good none the less.

Using the Konnekt8 set with interal clock as masterclock for thr system makes a night and day difference in the Attraction's sound.

BTW, thanks for the postings on Evidence Audio cable. I've rewireed everything in my system (PS, ICs, Speakers) with great results.
