Thanks for the advice and taking time to answer what is probably the most basic information for most AA members.
I assume that if something is only offered in MP3 for download that you cannot recover the lost data. Correct? I have made a couple of CDs by changing an MP3 download to Apple Lossless just so I could play them on a regular CD set up.
My goal is to have really top notch sound and use my computer as a storage medium for my high end system.
Is there any significant difference between downloading a regular CD in (1) Apple Lossless, (2) AIFF, or (3) WAV? Is one of these three formats better for maximum quality?
