"DXD" is a format that was developed for editing "DSD" (as used on SACD's). "DXD" is simply 24-bit PCM at 8x the normal CD rate (352.8 kHz). While I'm sure it sound excellent, there is no generally accepted method for distributing these files. Not even on BluRay. So good luck finding your favorite music in this format...
