Interesting, I am going down the path you already travelled it would appear, I am very close to purchasing balanced Placette RVC, so far the only thing that holds me back is probability that an used one will show up, but it seems to be unlikely.
What interconnects you use, source to Placette, and Placette to amps?
And what amps you use?
