What do you expect saving money on "used" equipment shouldn't come at a cost?

We should always consider the possibility that repairs might be needed when buying audio equipment. One of the main reasons for buying new is to be confident that repair costs will not be encountered for X number of months.
Why should the original owner profit by offering the equipment manufacturers warrantee to a third party?
I don't think so - let the used buyer assume the risks.
