Just FYI, I believe you are thinking of the J.S. Bach Complete Works box set from Brilliant Classics (150+ discs, currently available for less than $150 from Amazon.com). IIRC, the CDs were originally sold at drug stores in Europe. This label also offers a complete Mozart box of similar size for around the same price.
