Yeah, that's a nice one. To achieve the level of "awesome" you might need some outboard mikes and preamps. That goes a little beyond the scope of the original post (I think).

An iPod is still the best way to take your music on the go. You could get an iPod and a Zoom for the price of the Marantz PMD660.

Maybe this should be moved into the pro audio forum?
