The Minerva does not have any DTCP incorporated, i.e. it would not work with the DV-989 iLink port. The iLink is firewire based, but uses a special protocol.
The Minerva is a completely new design. The output impedance is 50 Ohm which is also fairly low and suited for passive attenuators.
The output voltage we plan to set to 12.2dBu which is 3.16VRMS (peak level). The maximum output voltage with the Medea comes from its pro audio origins. In pro audio peak levels like +27dBu are common.
Suggested Retail for the Minerva is US$ 4500.
