The Rega Apollo, YBA Design YC201, Cambridge 840c, Arcam cd33, amongst others all use the same and excellent DAC. The 840c is the only one w/ balanced outputs in this price range. All these player are more similar than different.

The Linn Ilkemi is another excellent option (maybe even better) w/ a different DAC and balanced outs.
