I like the Shigaraki (clarity and nimbleness without being analytical) and I really like Audionote DACS too, but, I also like some conventional, filtered, machines too (I own a Naim 555). As for the extremely high oversampling rate, I have no idea if that is good or bad for sound quality. In a Cary machine (306, I believe) that allowed for selection of oversampling rate, I actually preferred the lower sampling rate, but, who knows if this is just particular to Cary gear.
