As a follow-up a month later , I have to say that the DLIII has gotten better as some time has gone on. However, there are some instances where the Saturn sounds more musical than the DLIII. Specifically in the midrange, the Saturn sounds better, to m,e in my system, than the DLIII. The Saturn has a midrange bloom that is just MIA with the DLIII. I have only come to this conclusion after a few hundred hours listening to both units. This should take nothing away from the DLIII especially when connected to my computer. I still listen to this unit more than the Saturn but I thought some clarification on my earlier post was in order. YMMV in your system. It may have something to do with the Harbeth speakers.
