Same thing happened to me years back.
There is a nylon gear that operates the movement of the drawer. The belt drive from the motor is not the problem.
Some of the gear teeth broke off. You need to have it serviced by a Rotel tech because of the alignment of the gear to drawer position. Cost me about $100 if I remember correctly.
