Same thing happened to me...but it was my fault.

I was wiring directly to its circuit board, and I shorted out one side. I found a place in NY that was authorized to service Dynaco, and they were going to charge me the price of the player just to look at it.

SO I bought a dac, and used it as a transport.

My hunch is that anyone familiar with tubed circuits could fix it. It really is a wonderful player.
