I recall products in the early digital days that restore harmonics above 22.05 kHz. I think the interest in such products declined when high-rez digital hit the market.
Nonetheless, an interesting product, especially for those who think band limiting is a major deficiency in CD playback.
A word of warning- This product should only be used with DACs that use classic "brickwall" filtering, since non-music-related "image" components above 22 kHz are kept to a minimum in these designs. (Most modern CD players and DACs still use this type of filtering.) But with non-OS or time-resolute DACs, which pass through these ultrasonic "image" components to a far greater degree, the "harmonic restoration" might act partly on these "image" components, which would likely negate sonic benefit.
