I really like mine too. What I hear is a correction in pitch, and also proper timing. The most amazing thing is that it does not change the basic character of the DAC. It does its thing in parallel with your favorite DAC. I don't think that it costs too much money for what it does. I would gladly buy another one if mine were stolen.
I honestly did not want the dap to work when I tried it because I didn't agree with the concept of adding another box to my DAC. Especially something that goes after the DAC in the analog relm. Besides, I already loved my DAC. But when I took the dap out of the system I had to put it right back in again.
I can't handle Redbook digital without my dap.
