Hi kh6idf,
Can you give me some additional info. on the reason(s) behind #4?
"4. When using the optical input (for CD, etc) set the Gain/Offset (EQ) under the utility menu to -5.0"
Is that to compensate for the pro vs. consumer levels? I haven't been doing this with my SqueezeBox3 as digital TOSLink input and running the DEQ2496's analog outputs to my PS Audio Trio C-100 integrated and it all sounds good. Am I potentially harming any of my equipment?
