This can easily be heard

I read thru the archives, and the it was suggested to listen to cymbals etc, and the implication was with asynchronos upsampling, they would be tiring after a bit.

I tossed on a stock Behringer SRC2496 as a DAC. I prefer 88.2 upsampling over 44.1 which in turn I prefer to 96. And I prefer leaving it at 16bit.

Very interesting thread. Good stuff in the archives too.
