How does it upsample? Asynchronous stuff?
If so very bad start...
Jitterwise how does it perform?
What are the filters implemented? If it is a mere
implementation of electronic equalizer that
is at least as bad.
What are the dac(s)? cheap op-amps?

By the way the behringer is cheap so you can try.
