I bought a Playstation 1 on ebay (after reading the threads here and and the 6 moons article) and it skips quite a bit on CD's indicating the laser needs adjustment. I am not technically inclined at all so I was wondering where I should have this done. I also was interested in a couple of the less invasive mods that were suggested on an earlier thread. I would like to get these done as well. My last question is whether buying a new laser for the unit requires any soldering? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a unit that costs $20.00! Bob
