... as no insult or offense was intended.I guess I should remember that what may sound like humour when spoken with both inflection and body-language cues that light up like a sign saying "this is a tongue-in-cheek comment", doesn't necessarily work when viewed in written form.
In addition, what may be common behaviour/usage/practice in one country/culture, may be viewed by another as being offensive.
Finally, I had not really considered the aspect of gender and had assumed that the moniker was a play on words (much like my own) and had no gender significance at all. Now that I've (just) viewed your inmate profile, I realise that your moniker does indeed have a gender significance.
I considered handling this process via e-mail, but felt that the original slight(s) had occurred in an open forum and that - out of courtesy - any apology should be made in the same manner - so, please accept my apologies for any offence given as a result of unclear communication and/or motives, cultural differences and perceived gender-based slights... ... and my assurance that there will be no repeat.
