I've given some background information about, and put up some pics of, the EAR Acute on my blog. The mini-series begins with the 2/2/07 post. I haven't had enough time to do thorough and extensive listening, so I'll divulge my listening notes, as time permits.
I'll have to ship back the demo Acute in a matter of days. As the Acute sounds quite different from other CD players, I will miss having it around as a reference.
