I was told that as time goes by a plaer or DAC should sound better with "burn in." Last might I was listening to my system and it sounded worse than right out of the box. I know it isn't my amps or preamp because I tried another player and it sounded perfect. Right out of the box the DAC sounded great. But for some reason or other last night after using it previously for a day or so, it din't sound as good. Is this normal for a piece of equipment to take on different life forms over time, good and bad?
