Leave it "on" 24/7, put some disc on repeat for several days. My recent experience (with another make) showed that 200 is not nearly enough to break-in a new CDP.
Try Cardas Cross or Golden Cross interconnect, it will tame the edginess and add some warmth.
Try wooden cones, there's lots of cheap ones on ebay. A good light platform like Torlyte or similar would be even better.
Having said that it is not the first time that I have heard about a "cold" nature of Wadia sound, which is attributed to it's DAC. So if you still do not like it - a good tube preamp is definitely a way forward.
And if you do not like this - do not panic: you have an excellent transport now and adding a top DAC will give you a REALLY serious sound.
