I think by far the main strength of Wadia is a result of it's use of the best transports, but the DACs - although good - haven't been class leading.

A player incorporating a good DAC with an excellent transport is still a very good source however, and Wadia do have a lively presentation which is sometimes prefereble to the anodyne, lifeless but detailed presentations of competitors.

All IMO of course.
