"How's detail resolution of this tubed CDP? Objective detail resolution is the ONE Achilles' heel of most tubed units, especially 'reasonably-price' variety when compared to say Meitner, Reimyo, etc."

The Don Allen mod (tube) Magnavox CDC-745 has as much detail as one would ever want from a CDP.
