Is the TV the source? Meaning, are you using the tuner in the TV, or when you say "Cable" do you meane that there is a cable box??

If there is a cable box, then as Awe is saying, run audio from there to your RCA, not from the TV. But, if the TV is indeed the source, then you might try running analog, or making sure the digital out put is turned on in the set up menu if there is an option.

I am assuming that you get sound on other sources. Is that correct??
