I'm still confused.
the TV does not have any markings for DVD/CABLE SAT ?
the tv has these inputs:

Video Source: Mfg'd April 07
HDTV LCD Element Electronic FLX-1910 ( elementelectronics.com )
the back panel has:
1-Composite Video Input Terminal
1-S-Video Terminals
1-set Component Video Input Terminals
1-VGA/PC Audio (L/R) Input Terminals
1-HDMI Input
1-Set of Audio (L/R) output terminals for composite C-Video/S-Video
1-Coaxial Output Terminal
1-Headphone Terminal

And, the video is coming from the tv ? now I'm more confused.

The way I watch TV is from a cable - VHF/UHF antenna input using the typical cable jack connection. The input selection is: TV Cable/Air

The only other audio input selections on the tv are:
Video 1 A/V w/L&R Audio Inputs
S-Video w/L&R Audio Inputs
YPbPr1 IN 3-color inputs w/L&R Audio Inputs
and the VGA Input that has a PC Audio In Input

and I am unable to tap into any of these audio resources for my purpose and watch tv simultaineously which is basically what I want to do.

what do you think ??
