On the other hand, at about twice the price of the Big Ben, the Esoteric G-03X with its ±0.1ppm performance, looks like a pretty good choice.

With my post, I was wondering how easy it might be to practically DIY something out of a device thats cheaper, but even more accurate... which is where the Symmetricom platforms come into play.
