check out dbpoweramp.....I use this to create WAV files from FLAC when I need to edit them.

But your comment about FLAC I dont get.....FLAC is as high res as whatever it encoded.....if you encode/compress a FLAC file from a 16/44.1 WAV, you might as well use that in burrrn...it will give you identical results as desconstructing the WAV first...besides..this is all that burrrn does first --but creates CDA streams from FLAC. One thing I noticed about burrrn...is the defaults add dither.... When coverting a CD to FLAC, then back to CD -- you definately don't want to add dither...this destroys the sound... All the dither that was needed is already in the original bits, which are unchanged through the lossless encoding/decoding. Just go to options and deslect this....then the CDs will be fine again.
