Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Re: An humble personal experience with the SRC2496.

"I have a Behringer SRC2496 AD-DA converter.
I feel that the better sound is when the DAC is used slaved to the transport (external mode), and not with reclocking.
The sound seems more natural to me."

You've basically transferred the jitter element of the Behringer to the transport, making them work off a common clock. So your findings seem consistent.

What transport are you using? I need to get a transport with "slaving" capability, that doesn't require taking out a second-mortgage.....

The Prism DA-2 DAC is also capable of "slaving" the transport..... For all I know, I may not not heard the unit to its full potential.
