I've decided to mod a Toshiba SD-3950 (I've found them on ebay between $10 & 40). I'll prolly try the Vinnie Rossi mods and do an A/B against the 588. I'm sure the 588 will best it, but you never know until you try, right? ;^)Worst case, I'm out about $50 and I get to experiment a bit. Should be an interesting comparison.
