Possible to encode CDR rips with HDCD??

I'm beginning the process of ripping many of my LP's to CDR. Going through a Soundblaster Audigy2 External Soundcard to a laptop via CoolEdit2000.

My CD-Player, A Rotel 1072, allows HDCD decoding and I'm wondering if there's a way to encode the CDR's with HDCD?

The Audigy2 is capable of 24-bit/96kHz analog to digital conversion. I would imagine whatever software I use to record or burn would be responsible for the HDCD encoding though.

Any help would be most appreciated!
