for that kind of money i would take a look at a used mini max cd player-
the shengya is a nice cdp -ive had mine for a year now with no problems -i think a guy on ebay still has some us voltage ones-
also take a look at the xindak muse at auction on agon-they go for around 700$or a x-88 from av123-same as a music hall at half the cost-399$-
i just dont like the idea of a power converter on my cd player-
