Thanks for the very useful info. I was wondering about mods. Since this player was fairly expensive for it's day, I suspected that is was not as comon to mod. At the price I paid, trying some mods makes perfect sence. I had also wondered if it would make a good transport. Thanks for answering that!I also found that Sony still stocks the remote control.
