If you are interested in the most accuracy for the least investment, try the Benchmark DAC-1. There is probably a professional dealer near San Franscico, and, barring that, it may be purchased directly from Benchmark. There is a 30 day return option, so you'll be able to test it in the only environment that really counts - your home. Any good CD or DVD player witha digital output can be used as a transport with good results and multiple inputs can be accomodated. It is a steal in my opinion. Good luck!
