Do you truly expect to get an equivalent machine to a $3K (Canadian or US by the way?) model for $625 US, then you will probably be disappointed.IMHO, it outperforms everything I have heard up to $2.5K US, but I have not auditioned either of the two models you quote, although I see that they review well.
If you keep an open mind and are prepared to take a leap of faith, I think that you will be VERY pleasantly surprised.
If not, keep your money in your pocketbook - you will not know what you are missing!
