It is because the A3.24 is now discontinued and the
new X DAC is out. The Tri-Vista is also discontinued
I think.... Those loyal to MF will probably see this
as an oppurtunity to upgrade to a Tri-Vista or one
of the new X DAC packages.
Those not loyal will simply move on. I have the
A3.24 and I like it. I use it with a Denon DV-2200
for CD playback. I have auditioned alot of CD
players up to $1K and have not found a single
box solution that I like better. Those being
NAD, ARCAM, ROTEL etc. I guess I will have to
spend over $1K to see any improvement.My 2 cents,
