i am in the same boat as you. what i do to buy new stuff is start saving for what i want and keep my eye out for good used gear. if you get what you want in the first place youll be happy for a long time and you wont have to constantly upgrade-but it takes a little patience. also my wife libby thinks its "kinda cute" when i save up all my change.

i havnt heard the technics but i bet in a couple of months youll have enough greenage to buy a used planet 2000 for around 750.00 as well as many others. ®
