This is a photo of the other end of the cable.I thought I was clear when I said the [first] photo showed the cable exiting the DIN plug. By leaving the internal wiring and DIN in place, I can easily experiment with other phono cables, including those with RCA plugs via the stock terminal block, and I can use my DIY phono cable with other TTs. The thingie is the cable strain relief that came with the TT.
