Add Your Review for the Anaconda |
I'll keep this short since I'm growing tired of superlatives in reviews. This is a REALLY nice cable. I compared the AQ Python a while back against 5 or so of the competition and it was the clear winner. The next step up, the Anaconda, is like the Python after a good bath: Clean, baby! Highs are waaaay up there and extended, bass is tight and loooooow. Midrange is superb and just "there" -- no grain, no frequency imbalances, nothing to tell you that you are even using a cable. It's just music.
I think I've finally reached the level (or come very close) to where I'm listening to the music and forgetting that I have stuff playing it. The AQ cable is so clean and clear that it makes everything sound good (assuming it was recorded well).
I would put the addition of this cable in my system up there with adding the BAT VK-5i in terms of overall perceived improvement. I would encourage everyone to give this cable a listen.
| Product Weakness: | Price, of course. Why can't they make these for a dollar??? |
| Product Strengths: | Seems to me that it does everything right, or rather it does nothing at all. Your pick. |
