Shunyata Anaconda vs. Python

Hello,

I know, there is nothing like trying ... but still: Has anyone compared the Shunyata Python with the Anaconda and can give me a bit of an impression?

Background: I am currently auditioning a Python for my amp, and it does a lot of things very nicely ... well, it is less detailed than the Elrod EPS 3 sig that I normally use in that position, and it certainly lacks the Elrod "magic" and realism, but it does produce the fuller body and warmer midrange that my system needs. I also tried the King Cobra v2 in that position, which I found warmer and slower and shunyata'er than the Python (does my system some good) but also grainier and less tonally correct. In my system, that is, I am aware that other people here have reported the opposite.

So I keep wondering whether the Anaconda VX would do a better job than the Python at being warmer and fuller while also allowing for more detail and realism ....

Thanks for any input !

Thomas
