Has anyone made the Jon Risch DIY ICs (twisted pair with braided copper shield) using the Dayton RCAs that Sean so gratiously obtained for some members?I can't figure out the best way to connect the ground. There is only one attachment point (a small set-screw through the barrel, which has about an 8mm I.D.).It seems to me that the set-screw tightened into the braid would be questionable,at best. The only thought I have is to remove the screw and use it's hole as a solder point.Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!!!
